About Me

I teach computer science at Henry M. Gunn High School in Palo Alto.  I am a founding member of the Silicon Valley chapter of the Computer Science Teachers Association.  I have received the NCWIT Aspirations Award for Teachers.

The courses I teach can be found here.  If there is something there that you like, by all means feel free to take what you need.

I have done writing for BaseballHQ.com and Ron Shandler’s Baseball Forecaster.  I won the CDM Sports Diamond Challenge in Y2K.

I have a wife (an actual computer scientist) and three kids, all of whom are awesome.

  1. Hi

We are interested in hiring a tutor to prepare my daughter for the AP com Science Principle exam in May. I see you teach computer science classes . The exam is in May, and we need to prep her now. Is tutoring something that your instructors do? Currently she is a Sophmore and is getting an A in that class. However, we would like her to be better prepared for the exam in May. If you do not tutor, do you happen to know anyone that does?

Additionally, we would like to hire someone to view her create and explorer project. Let us know if there is a tutor available

    Thanks
